The Obsessed With Music retail location was an independent record store in the northeast area of Sacramento, California. It is now an Internet-only web site. The original retail store was established in September 1993 by a husband and wife who shared an interest in music and a desire to open a store. That would be us, Steven and Petra. Obsessed With Music was one of Sacramento's best kept secrets. We bought and sold new and used records, tapes and CD's, including new releases and imports. We also carried other music related items such as posters and calendars. Our selection was always growing and constantly changing, and of course all merchandise was guaranteed against defects. One thing you would always find at OWM was service. We were not a chain or megastore and didn't want to be. If we didn't have what you were looking for we would try to get it. Keeping the store smaller with only one location ensured that you always got personal service.
We closed our retail location in August 2000 and now operate only via this web site. We welcome your comments and suggestions.
